1) Store our phone
number in all your cell phones, this way we can be there when you need us!(plus how else are you going to recommend us to
your friends! Trust us, they will ask!)
2) Make sure there
is fresh food and water available at all times for your puppy, and remember to monitor his/her food and water intake!
3) Give Nitri-Cal
2 to 3 times a day (small amount) at least until the puppy is 6 months old!
4) KEEP YOUR PUPPY
WARM! If you are like us we love our house like a meat locker, that’s fine but be sure to provide your puppy with a
nice warm place to relax and sleep!
5) When you leave
your puppy alone make sure to leave it in a safe place, (i.e. away from electrical cords, cold drafts, deep water, stair cases,
etc.) with a blanket and dog bed!
6) Make sure to
give lots of love and plenty of baby talk especially the first month the puppy is with you! He/she is sure to feel some separation
anxiety and needs to quickly bond to you and your family! They love to be held most of the time and cuddling on the sofa is
easily accomplished!
7) If you want
to take your puppy out make sure you bring it food and water!
8) DO NOT LET
ANYONE TOUCH YOUR PUPPY, PERIOD! (tell them he is way to young and is susceptible to sickness, we even say this with our full
grown dogs)
9) Stay away from
large public areas with lots of dog concentration i.e. Petco, Petsmart etc.(they are breeding grounds for dog illness!)
10) Do not put your dog down on the floor at
your vets office for obvious reasons!
11) We recommend using a dog purse that zippers
shut when taking your puppy out in public, it is safe and prevents people from touching it! (holding it in your arms is fine
just don’t let people assume he is on display because they will!)
12) Make sure not to exhaust your puppy with
constant play, especially the first 5 or 6 days! Trust us he will want to cuddle with you for 70% of the time anyway! Remember
he needs plenty of naps just like a human baby!
13) Your puppy is very tiny and wants to be loved
and cuddled with most of the time they just want to be with you!
14) In the future, when your addicted to these
little bundles of joy; we highly recommend finding a little friend for your puppy! (relatively the same size.)
15) If you want to take your puppy to the park
or the beach, we recommend that you wait till he/she is significantly older because at this delicate stage they can dehydrate
very, very fast! (NO BOATS, Yachts are ok with A/C cabins but keep your dog safe and secure while vessel in under way)
16) Keep your puppy away from other dogs and
especially LARGE BREED DOGS, most people assume their large dogs are friendly and most are, but these larger dogs are not
aware of the damage they can inflict by simply stepping on your puppies paw!
17) Be very gentle with your puppies head and
entire body in general, dropping this small dog from standing position is the equivalent of dropping a German Sheppard pup
of your roof! (what do you think would happen?)
We
hope that you enjoy, love and spoil the new leader of your family! Remember what makes us different is we want to hear from
you and we want you to hear from us! If you need anything, or have any concern what so ever regarding your puppy, regardless
if you bought your puppy from us or not
